HTP (hatethepopular) draws its name from a web programming protocol that lacks built-in security measures. In this context, HTP serves as a symbol of freedom of thought and expression—an open space free from the constraints that typically limit ideas, creativity, or artistic output.
Hatethepopular is open to everyone. Anyone is free to participate, with the understanding that individuals bear their own risks. Its independent, open nature—devoid of rigid security barriers—reflects the freedom to explore ideas to the fullest extent, even though such freedom entails higher risks.
Through this project, HTP aims to represent those who value freedom and independence, and who seek an expansive space to think, create, and bring limitless ideas to life.
